Faith Walk!

There has been so much teaching around me about faith. I think it is such an important topic right now. Really its not even a topic, its apart of this walk. I heard a preacher say, if you don't have faith, you don't have salvation. How can you be saved without faith. My bishop has been teaching lately on faith. Laron and I went to Florida one weekend to sing and do some studio work. While we were working we started talking. (which I love) We started talking about faith and he had this crazy revelation from the Lord that changed my whole perspective on the word and topic faith. Hebrews 11: breaks faith down soooo clear. "Without faith it is impossible to please God". "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen". Now us as christians always think faith has to do with everything outside of us. I need a new car, let me have faith and its mine. I want a new house, let me have faith and I can have it. But faith is the substance of things hoped for, so faith in this matter is not you sitting, praying and wishing. Your faith is you working saving your money and getting your credit together to get those things. Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. A lot of times we think our faith is on the outside, but has anyone ever asked the question, who am I faith to. Who am I the evidence for or the substance for pleasing God. Now remember without FAITH its impossible to please God. So the things we do on a daily basis, the things we do are evidence to others that God is real. There are some people on this earth who are already rich and don't need faith to have a brand new car, because they have the money. So are we limiting faith to mere things that we can see.... Even though the scripture says faith is the evidence for the things we can not see. Now that rich person may have all materials but may not have peace of mind. You are the evidence and substance of what they don't have and can never purchase or obtain with mere physical means. The unseen always controls the seen. So the question is are you the evidence and the proof for someone that God is real?

When a planter plants seeds, he plants them on open soil. The soil may not be fully aware that seeds are being laid, but if its open the farmer has the right to plant to bring a harvest. Some of our hearts are like that open soil. If its open and a farmer comes to plant you may not know why he's planting, what he's planting and even when he planted. However if he did and you were open, that seed HAS been planted. Now you are the carrier of the seed, it has begun the process of growth and reaping. Damaged Relationships

The holidays are different for me now. Instead of people coming home to see me, now I am the one coming home. I uprooted from all things familiar and moved to a new land. So coming home is also coming back. I am coming back to familiar places, things and people. That can be exciting yet a little awkward depending upon how it was left. I saw someone recently that brought up all kind of emotions when my eyes rested on them. Everything raced through my head to tell them my true feelings, disappointments and deserved reads. Its a different kind of hurt when its revealed to you that someone pretended a relationship for the sake of their own malice intentions. It never seems fair when you are vulnerable but the other party is not as vulnerable. You feel like you gave a piece of yourself away for free. Don't even think of tallying time. Not only did you waste energy but time. In those short three seconds of assessing what reaction I should give. I gave a smile. That revealed a lot. Som

What are you hearing?

When me and the Lord have conversations, He talks to me in lamen terms. He speaks very plain so I have no excuse to say I didn't understand. Here is something he boldy told me and I would like to share it with you: Don't ask to hear my voice if your intention is not to be attentive. Don't ask me to speak if your not even paying attention. You will always listen to what you are paying the most attention to. All things speak, which one is loudest to you? That is what is most important to you. I am a gentleman so if there is alot of noise and multiple voices, its not ME. I am not the author of confusion. He told me this on a day when I was getting overwhelmed about some things that were going on in my life. I started jumping ship mentally in some areas in my life, because I felt like it was TOO MUCH going on. Then God nicely reminded me. I am very simple and MY path is narrow where not much can fit.
